Arthur Miller is better known as a playwright but his novel Focus deals with issues of racism, particularly anti-Semitism in America during the Second World War period. The plot focuses upon a personnel manager of a large New York company which is anti-Semitic in its selection of staff. The main character experiences anti-Semitism first-hand and the reader is drawn into a plot that is all-consuming.
